Creamy Tomato Pasta

Izzy Sanford, Editor-in-Chief

I love pasta, but I hate plain, boring pasta. This pasta recipe uses basic ingredients, is super simple, dirties minimal dishes, and saves me from plain pasta.

Ingredients:

Uncooked pasta

2 tablespoons butter

2-3 cloves garlic minced

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1 can tomato sauce

3/4 cup heavy/whipping cream

Italian seasoning

Salt & pepper

  1. Cook the pasta. Boil water, salt the water, boil the pasta, all of it.
  2. The best thing about this recipe is that it takes little dishes to make. In a separate pan, combine the butter, minced garlic, tomato pasta and sauce, and cream.
  3. Mix the tomato cream mixture until its borderline boiling. Do not burn the mixture, but make sure it is fully combined.
  4. Add the pasta to the tomato cream mixture. Now, add the Italian seasoning and salt and pepper. Combine until the pasta is fully covered in sauce. Note: The Italian seasoning could be added during the tomato cream mixture stage, but I think it tastes better if it is added with the pasta.
  5. Plate and serve.
