The Fall season is often associated with the crisp autumn air, pumpkin patches, apple cider, and many other fall activities. Fall is usually celebrated with family and friends with traditions and festivities. Many fall festivities are occurring to celebrate the season, including pumpkin patches to Halloween scares.
One of the most popular pumpkin patches, Sweet Fields Farm, is open from Oct. 6 to Nov. 5. They offer experiences like pumpkin patches, a corn maze, hayrides, homemade apple cider, and delicious lemonade. Sweet Fields Farm also has farm animals and activities to entertain everyone, from toddlers to adults.
Harvest Moon Farm Pumpkin Patch is another fall-oriented organization that offers fun that one can partake in this year and will be open from Sep. 30 to Nov. 5. They have a five-acre corn maze featuring the “Wizard of Oz” and a petting farm, among many other activities.
Beasly’s Farm Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch will be hosting its first fall festival with dates to be determined. Their fall activities include a sun hemp and corn maze, u-pick sunflowers, farm animals, and fresh produce.
Green Acres Farm Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch will also host its first fall festival from Oct. 28 to 29. This fall festival will include local vendors, a pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, and food trucks.
For Halloween Scares, there is the classic “Howl-o-Scream” and “Scream-a-Geddon.”Busch Gardens will be putting on its Howl-o-Scream from Sep. 8 to Oct. 31. Scream-a-Gedeon will have its events from Sep. 8 to Nov. 4.
The American Victory Ship in Tampa has also turned itself into a Halloween event with the theme of “Undead in the Water: The Gathering,” which is being hosted from Sep. 22 to Oct. 28. A brand new Halloween event this year in Tampa is the pirate water taxi with the theme of “Spirits of the Shallow.” The Event starts on select dates beginning from Oct. 6. The 50-minute cruise will stop at Captain Patchy’s Pumpkin Barge, where all children aboard the tour will receive a small pumpkin and the opportunity to meet Tampa’s grumpiest tugboat captain, Patchy.
However one chooses to partake in the Fall Festivities coming to Tampa, there are a plethora to choose from.
