“Taste at the Straz” is presented by Raymond James Stadium on April 1. “Taste at the Straz” is Tampa Bay’s first and longest-established culinary event.

It is an eat-and-drink event that allows restaurants to have a crowd of people try their food while fundraising for the Straz Centers’ world-class productions and arts education programs.

Tampa Bay’s most popular restaurants are featured along with its most popular breweries and local artists. The event will occur on Tampa’s Riverwalk, the Morsani Hall Lobby, and Ferguson Hall Lobby.

General admission tickets start at $95, VIP admission is available for $185, and VIP tables are available for $2,250. VIP tables allow a chance for ten to be seated. VIP admission begins at 6 p.m., and general admission starts at 7 p.m. on the night of the event.

This year’s music line-up includes Keith James, N Fusion, Benjamin Pila, Jinx, Shelby Sol, and Friends, all of whom are local artists in Tampa Bay. Throughout the night, five local musicians will play on stages that are placed throughout the stadium. Many appear on the riverwalk while some appear in the Morsani Hall Lobby and the Ferguson Hall Lobby.

Over 40 restaurants and four microbreweries will be featured. Restaurants include Bolay Fresh Bold Kitchen, Blue Bell Creameries, Himes Breakfast House, Melting Pot Social, Noble Crust, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Shell’s Seafood Restaurant, and various others. “Taste at the Straz” is one of the most popular ways to be exposed to and sample a variety of restaurants while fundraising for the arts.
