Block Blast was released to the gaming world September 23, 2022, though it did not reach popularity until mid 2024. The game went viral on social media platforms and spread more through word of mouth.  

   The game is simple and has a goal of reaching the highest score you can get without running out of space on your layout. The game will generate blocks in groups of three and the player must strategically place them to create a full row. Once the full row is achieved, it is eliminated creating more space on the layout for incoming blocks.  

   The game gets more difficult the longer the round goes on. The longer the player survives, the higher their score will get. If the player fails and runs out of space, the game will give an option to watch an ad for redemption or proceed to a new round causing the score to restart.  

   The power of reinforcement often causes players to keep playing the game, wanting to achieve more points. Block Blast has gained a huge uprising among teenagers as a use of free time. Block Blast is available to play at any time since it does not require Wi-Fi to play.
