With the regular season of the College Football (CFB) season wrapped up, the final rankings of the teams have been released. The 4 major CFB conference champions will all receive byes in the first round which consists of the University of Oregon, University of Georgia, Boise State University, and Arizona State University. The first round introduces home playoff games which many are excited for. The teams hosting will be the University of Texas as they host Clemson University, Penn State University (PSU) as they host Southern Methodist University (SMU), University of Notre Dame as they host Indiana University, and Ohio State University as they host University of Tennessee.
After the first round the winners will move on to play the teams who received byes. The winner of Texas vs Clemson will play Arizona State in the Peach Bowl. The winner of PSU vs SMU will play Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl. The winner of Notre Dame vs Indiana will play Georgia in the Sugar Bowl. The winner of Ohio State vs Tennessee will play Oregon.
This year’s playoffs are full of many great games to come, with many eager for them to start. The current favorites to pave their way to the championship is Oregon and Georgia, as many fans and experts believe they will find a way to win the playoff.
