Carbone Spicy Rigatoni is a copycat recipe of Cheesecake Factory’s “ Spicy Vodka Pasta” and will surely set your taste buds on fire. For creamy yet spicy pasta, follow the recipe below!
Ingredients:
- 16 ounces uncooked rigatoni
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- ¾ cup vodka
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon chile pepper flakes
- Cayenne pepper and desired
Directions
Step one: Heat oil over medium heat and add onion and garlic. Cook until translucent, three to five minutes. Add tomato paste and cook until brick red and beginning to caramelize.
Step two: Pour vodka into a pan on low heat and simmer, stirring often, until the liquid is evaporated. Add heavy cream and chile pepper flakes, as well as salt and pepper, as desired.
Step three: Cook pasta until al dente.
Step four: Add pasta to the homemade sauce and then add the pasta water.
