Halloween Horror Nights takes place every year at Universal from September to October. Halloween Horror Nights displays a variety of haunted houses. Their haunted houses vary every year, but they usually have two haunted houses that are based on a horror movie or show that came out that year. They also show a few random monster ones that, on occasion, are projects they were planning to release, but got put on the shelf. Other houses are themed around old horror movies like Frankenstein. The schedule of this year’s Halloween Horror Nights will last from Sept. 1 to Nov. 4.
This year’s events include a “Last of Us” themed house and an “Exorcist” themed house, and these are the two television themed ones that came out this year. They are also having another “Stranger Things” haunted house that will be centered around season 4 of the show, keeping up the tradition of having a haunted house for every season.
The classic horror movie “Chucky” will also have its own haunted house called “Chucky: Ultimate Kill count.” Even though this is a classic horror movie, Chucky’s haunted house is based on the show that was released on October 12 2021. This house will have Chucky trying to “kill” people while walking through.
Haunted houses, however, are not the only thing Universal has to offer. They also have multiple scare zones, great costumes, and creative sets. This means even if someone does not walk through a haunted house, they will still be scared by the dressed-up actors while just simply walking around.
This year, they will also have “Universal Monsters: Unmasked.” This will show off all of Universal’s incredible monsters such as the Invisible man, Phantom of the Opera, and even the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
What happens if someone gets hungry while there, though? Luckily, Universal will have multiple Halloween themed foods there, and some foods are even based on the haunted houses there such as the “Last of Us” and “Chucky.”
Halloween Horror Nights is a great place to go for Halloween so make sure to go while it lasts.
