   Ed Boon and John Tobias created the first “Mortal Kombat” in 1992. The game was extremely popular, with some significant controversies from the media.

   “Mortal Kombat 1” is a direct sequel to “Mortal Kombat 11,” with a full timeline reset following the game’s events. The game hosts many nods to the original games, with the music taking inspiration directly from the first and second games.

   The game plays just like the rest in a classic fighting game format with online and local game modes and a single-player story to play through.

   The story was one of the many critiques people had with “Mortal Kombat 1,” as many believed it did not live up to the fans’ expectations. Others believed it to be poorly written and an overall unenjoyable experience.

   The game also hosts a brand new mode called “Invasions,” which takes on a seasonal structure.     Each season will have different levels and is entirely free for all players. Alongside this, you can earn “seasonal kredits” to spend in the seasonal shop.

   Many players view this complete reset as a great start to the brand-new timeline of the Mortal Kombat universe.
