This dish is a family and friend favorite! It is extremely delicious and can be done in only 30 minutes. It is the perfect recipe for when you’re in a time crunch or to satisfy your pasta cravings.
Ingredients:
- Pasta (of choice)
- Salted butter
- Heavy Cream
- Parmigiano Reggiano
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Optional:
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Grilled Chicken
First, fill a large pot 3/4 of the way with water and bring it to boil.
While the water is coming to boil, grate 2/3 cup of parmigiano reggiano cheese.
When the water comes to boil, add in a pinch of salt and a drizzle of olive oil.
Then, pour in the box pasta of choice and set a timer following the required instructions on the packaging.
While the pasta cooks, in a small pot melt 1/4 cup of butter.
Once the butter is melted add in 1 cup of heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
After it reaches a simmer, put the heat on low and add in the 2/3 cup of grated parmigiano reggiano and melt the cheese.
Once the cheese is melted turn off the heat and add in half a tablespoon of salt, a tablespoon of pepper, and half a tablespoon of garlic powder.
Now, strain the water out of the cooked pasta and add in the finished Alfredo sauce.
After 30 minutes, delicious Pasta Alfredo is ready to be served! Cut up cherry tomatoes and grilled chicken are great optional additions to the dish for extra flavor and texture.
