A cinematic masterpiece, spanning the entire Marvel universe, ten years in the making, is going to be
hitting theaters on May 4, 2018.

Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War will incorporate more than twenty superhuman characters, who have
all had their own stand-alone films. Over a decade of hard work and planning was put into the overall
production of the film.

According to Marvel, the much-hyped trailer earned 230 million views in its first 24 hours, blowing
past the previous champion, Andy Muschietti’s IT, which earned 197 million views when the first trailer
dropped earlier this year. Before that, the title belonged to Fate of the Furious, which earned a single-
day tally of 139 million views last year.

The plots of previous Marvel movies: The Avengers, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange,
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther are all said to cross over. The characters will interact and team up

Sophomore Mars Ballou said, “I was wondering when Iron Man was going to die…I’m serious. He’s
super old and has to die sometime.”

The film will formally introduce the antagonist, Thanos, an interstellar tyrant on a mission to collect
the six Infinity Stones, which will make him omnipotent. The plot is said to heavily revolve around his
Infinite Gauntlet and the six Infinity Stones.

The Infinity stones have shaped the Marvel universe and basically led up to this movie. We have seen
five of the stones: the space stone in the tesseract from Avengers, the reality stone in the aether from
Thor: Dark World, the time stone in the Eye of Agamotto from Doctor Strange, the power store in the
orb from Guardians of the Galaxy, and the mid stone from Vision’s forehead. The sixth stone has yet to be revealed to viewers but there are several strong theories of where it may lie.

Avengers: Infinity War will be released on May 4, 2018.
