Cam Newton is  mostly know as the starting quarterback for the Carolina Panthers. After losing the Super Bowl 24-10 to the Broncos he went into his baby mode.

During the game you could see him drop to the ground like a kid throwing a  temper tantrum as soon as things weren’t going his way. After the game he left his interview early and only gave vague one word answers. A lot of people give the star quarterback a pass because of his talent and charisma, but I think it’s time he starts acting like the 27 year old he is and mans up.

The Broncos lost two years ago to the Seahawks and you didn’t see their starting quarterback, Peyton Manning, throw a fit. Newton continues to give his critics more energy to keep on hating on him.

During the game you could see signs of him giving up on his team before it was even over. After claiming for weeks that all he cared about was winning, it was pretty contradicting to see Newton back away from a loose fumble to avoid getting hit during a crucial point in the game. The ball was recovered by the Broncos which all but sealed the fate of Newton and the Panthers.

If he wants to bring a Super Bowl back to Carolina, the first step is acting a little more mature. However, losing this game could help in the long run. Sometimes it takes failure to teach someone how to find success. After all, it took the future hall of famer Peyton Manning a while to win his first Super Bowl back when he was with the Colts.
