Music to expect at the Florida Strawberry Festival

 The Florida Strawberry Festival is right around the corner. The festival has many talented artists and bands performing, with ticket prices ranging from free with festival admission to $55. From rock and roll to country music singers, the performances will have something for everyone.

   On Mar. 3, the festival will showcase “Jimmy Sturr and HIS Orchestra,” which is free with gate admission at 10:30 a.m. At 3:30 p.m. and for $25, “The Oak Ridge Boys” will play many of its 1970 and 1980 hits from some of its 40+ albums. To wrap up the day, “Lady A,” most popularly known for the 2009 release “Need You Now,” will play at 7:30 p.m. for a ticket price of $50.

   The next day, Mar. 4, has two all-man bands playing, “The Beach Boys” and “Boyz II Men.” It will perform at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. respectfully, and both tickets will sell for $35 each.

   Coming up on Mar. 5, the festival has “Home Free” performing at 3:30 p.m. for $25, which is known for its country a cappella. Lauren Diagle, who sings “You Say,” will be on the stage for $40 at 7:30 p.m. 

   Mar. 6 and Mar. 7 feature “Chicks with Hits,” which consist of Terri Clark, Pam Tillis and Suzy Bogguss, for $25 at 3:30 p.m. and “Sammy Hagar & The Circle” for $40 at 7:30 p.m. Both on Mar. 6 and John Anderson and Kenzie Wheeler for $25 and $20 at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Mar. 7.

   On Mar. 9, for $25 and $40, Lee Greenwood and Jake Owen are performing at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Mar. 10 consists of a free performance included with paid gate admission of “The Lettermen,” “The Drifters” and “Cornell Gunter’s Coasters & The Platters” for $20 at 3:30 p.m. and “TESLA” for $35 at 7:30 p.m.

   Wrapping up the Festival, Mar. 11 has Gene Watson and Cole Swindell performing for $20 and $45. Gene Watson is on stage at 3:30 p.m. and Cole Swindell will be live at 7:30 p.m. Mar. 12 has “Bobby Bones” and “The Raging Idiots” on stage at 3:30 p.m. for $35 and Nelly for  $40 at 7:30 p.m. Mar. 13 features “The Bellamy Brothers” and Sam Hunt for $20 and $55. “The Bellamy Brothers” will play at 3:30 p.m. and Sam Hunt at 7:30 p.m.
