The 100 is Back for Vengeance

The award winning series, The 100, comes back with a new season that starts off stronger than ever. The actors for the hit series say there is a lot to come in season three, and that everyone will be shocked.

If you haven’t heard about the 100, it is a post-apocalyptic series where Earth was nuked and a few hundred of the remaining human race takes refuge in Space by circling the Earth. They have to spend around 150 years in space until the radiation has dispersed, but the people controlling the ship instead sent 100 teenagers down to earth to see if they would survive.

The first two seasons are on Netflix, and it is noted to be a binge worthy show by it being full of action and war. The producers weren’t sure if The 100 would have a season three, but the fans pulled together to make sure the series would continue.

Fast forward a season, and the teens realised they were not alone on Earth, and they are thrown into a political fight and a kill or be killed mindset.

The series has also became popular due to it advocating gay rights and non-stereotypical women’s roles. The 100 tries to disperse equality throughout the seasons.

Although season three starts off months in the future, I don’t exactly like the route the producers picked. It is obvious a lot of stuff happened, but by cutting out that time gap they leave the watcher confused.

I honestly can say that I can’t wait for what the 100 takes us through this year, since the budget has increased and the fanbase has grown tenfold. Every season The 100 gets better and better, and I have high expectations for the seasons to come.
